How to fix my fisher & paykel washer?

Hi, I've got a fisher & paykel intuitive eco washer that has trouble draining and going into spin cycle. I've removed the pump and checked for blockages etc - all clear. The pump spins freely. When cold pump will run for aprox 40sec before stopping, then starts up every 5-6 min and will run for aprox 5 sec.It gets very hot (cant touch) after this time.All other machine functions seem ok. Is this new pump time? Hope you can help

Yes. If pump is overheating get rid of it and put in a new one before you damage the controller PCB.
