My 1999 Ford KA will not start.
Was not used for 3 months, found that petrol pump fuse was blowing every time I switch on, tapped top of fuel pump and it worked OK.
Had car serviced three weeks ago, had not used car until today.
Started OK, drove 400 Metres, parked for 10 minutes.
Started car drove 400 Metres, engine stopped.
Have tapped on fuel pump again but did not work this time, fuse OK.
Any idea's of possible problem please? I am thinking it is a new fuel pump that I need.

Well could it be S... Law,fitted a second hand pump yesterday, started up and ran OK, drove a couple of miles stopped.
Five minutes later got in car engine turned over but would not start.
Could it be some thing else.
