It seems I have a problem with a badly done repair on my enging block?

It seems I have a problem with a badly done repair on my enging block. (SAAB 900) Is there a product for repairing this kind of material which may help me escape buying another block if I could find one? Apparently, if the repair is not done the engine could overheat.
