My treadmill just suddenly lost power what is wrong?

Ok, I have a Proform 400 X treadmill that is fairly new (around a year old). I was running on it at about 5 MPH when it just suddenly stopped. I am under the weight limit, so it couldn't have been that. It was raining outside so could it have been a power outage? I am not sure because nothing else in the house stopped working, just the treadmill. What is wrong and how do I fix it?
