Panasonic TX-P50V10B Wont switch on from standby.... ?

Hi

When my tv is switched off using the standby button on the remote I cant turn it back on again by pressing the standby button on the remote. If I switch it on/off at the tv and then press the standby button on the remote it turns on, but if i put it int standy again and try turning it on again it wont turn on. Any ideas?

Have you tried just pressing a channel number e.g. press 1 on the remote as same telly's can only be turned on from standby this way?
