can a gti engine from a mk2 golf fit into a mk4 golf?
its a 1.6 8v se at the moment but running very rough so i wanna swap it, an if so does anyone know what kind of problems im likely to run into, any info will be helpful
havent cum across this kind engine swap before having beeen a vw mechanic for sometime would of thought it may b tricky as the fuel set up is quite diffrerent ie the pump located at the tank so therefore hav to take in to concideration fueling pressures as for wiring cant see being to much trouble as the golf mk2 is pretty straightforward
