LEAKING HOTPOINT AQUARIUS WASHING MACHINE?

I HAVE TAKEN OFF THE FRONT PANEL AND THE DOOR SEAL BOOT. I HAVE FOUND THE LEAK IS COMMING FROM THE SIX HOLES IN THE PLASTIC DRUM AT THE BOTTOM ( 5 OCLOCK POSITION ) ON THE FACE OF THE DRUM WHY WOULD THIS START LEAKING AND CAN IT BE REPAIRED?
