Van has 103k on clock. Got 'water in fuel' light on in February & Vauxhall charged me £1253 for replacing full fuel system. 9 weeks later same light 'water in fuel' came on again. RAC confirmed same fault. Vauxhall now say there is no compression in the engine & I need to scrap it. Claim it is a completely different cause & 'coincidence' that I had 2 faults the same but with different causes in space of 9 weeks. Doesn't seem right to me. Van is 5 years old. Help please!
ask why is there is no comprission , is it the valves or the enging block , i would find it hard to belive that the compression has failed on all four clyinders at the same time .did the timming belt jump .
