How can I fix my Hayter Harrier 56 engine?

The above engine has developed vibration and a clattering noise when the engine is running. It seems there is excessive up and down movement in the cranksaft ie: to much end float movement in the crankshaft. Is the only option to replace the engine and if so where is the best supplier in the the South East.
