Hey, I have just bought an old SONY TRINITRON COLOUR TV KV-X2521U and am currently trying to connect it with my xbox. However although the cable fits in the back when I tune the TV to channel 0 (the usual channel that the xbox plays on) I get nothing.
I've tried pressing all the buttons but nothing is happening, are they not compatible or is there a certain combination of buttons or what??
any help/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
what if pressing the input button doesnt work. and out of all 6 color wires which one goes where

Sony TVs do not typically assign the A/V inputs to a channel number like RCA/GE tvs do. You will need to press the button labeled "TV/Video" or "Input." If you don't have the remote then you may be able to use the TV's menu using the menu button and volume/channel buttons.
