How can I fix my lx188?

It will start and run for a few seconds but then will stop, the gas lines are good and the spark plugs are good. What next?

See if the engine comes back to life again when you put the choke on.....or, if that makes things worse, check that the air cleaner isn't over dirty. I think you may have a carburettor blockage though.
