Mend Vauxhall 2002 Vectra Car

2002 Vauxhall Vectra Sat Nav error?

The in car sat nav in my Vectra tells me to insert the navigation CD when it is in the slot. I have tried a lens cleaning disc but still have a problem. Anyone have any ideas apart from binning it.

I have resolved this problem myself. I took mthe car to Highdown Car Radio (tel: 01903243526) at Martlet Way, goring Industrial Estate, Worthing, West Sussex.
They sent it away and had the laser mechanism replaced. it now works fine. Cost was £135.
I would reccomend these people to anyone with car Sat Nav or radio problems.
