My electric windows have suddenly stopped working?

My cigar lighter doesn't work and I wanted to buy a TomTom so needed this to work. First thing I did was take out the fuse for the cigar lighter, checked it and replaced it as it appeared fine. Now both the electric windows have suddenly stopped working even though I never went anywhere near the fuses for these. So then I checked the window fuses and they seemed ok...now my radio has stopped! I just don't know what I've done to create all this to happen by just taking out and replacing the cigar lighter fuse. It's baffling me. I'm no expert but I can usually reason things out. Anyone have any ideas?
