Hotpoint tdc32 Tumble dryer ?

I have had this machine for about 4 year I have changed the stats a few times but I recently had to replace the element, but since replacing elements the stats keep blowing , its the correct element & it has been fitted correctly as it did work for about a week after, anyone got any ideas help!
