household water problems with a hotpoint aquarius WD420?

since installing this machine i no longer have hot water coming out of my taps. if i dont use the washer for a few days the taps run okay but when i use the washer again it all stops. the washer works fine though. any advice?

Check that the drain hose is higher than the red line of the sticker, at the back of the machine.

Thus the machine may be filling up then syphoning out because the drain hose is to low. Therefore emptying the hot water tank .
