I have a 1983 (A reg) Ford Cargo 0813 Horsebox. When I put the hand-break on the vehicle rolls forward about 4 -5 feet before the breaks actually come on. I have stripped the hand-break down, replaced the 'O' rings and checked that the pipes are clear. Tanks are also drained on a regular basis. Any suggestions?
have you checked the quick release valve -situated somewhere near to handbrake chamber.could be faulty actuator [when hand brake applied air is released from actuator and brake is held by spring pressure]
