Mend Electrolux RM212F Campervan Fridge

Gas connection on Electrolux RM212F? (VW Campervan)?

When we connect our fridge onto the gas connection, it doesn't get the fridge cool enough. I have put in a thin layer of water within the freezer compartment, left fridge on for 8-10 hours and still nothing. The outside element of the van is warm and the light is on within the fridge. Can anyone help?
