Injection System Failure light on dashboard?

URGENT !!!

After driven back from Manchester to Leeds i have noticed that this symbol has lit up on my dashboard and is an orange colour. I let the engine cool down for a couple of hours but when switch back on it is still lit up orange.

Is this a major fault. Can i still drive my car with this light permantly on. will it cause major damage to my car if i drive with light still on.

Urgent answer required as have to drive from Leeds to Manchester on M621 (quite a few hills) tomorrow morning for work.

I have a Y reg Fiat Punto 1.4

I had the same problem driving my punto from southern england to scotland. I experienced a loss in engine power so pulled in and called the aa.
As it turned out it was a full injector that was causing the problem.
Thankfully taking it out and giving it a clean worked and i managed without any more drama upto scotland where i changed it.
So to answer your question, you should be alright to make the journey but id recommend getting it checked out asap.
