My front and rear windscreen wipers are not working ?

I HAVE A 02 PLATE RENAULT LAGUNA THURSDAY NIGHT DURING THE RAIN STORM THE ELECTRICS WENT APE ENGINE WOULDNT STOP EVEN WITH INGNITION CARD OUT A LOT OF CRACKING AND EVENTUALLY IT STOPPED! eVERYTHING IS NOW WORKING OK WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE FRONT AND REAR WINDSCREEN WIPERS. HAVE CHECKED THE FUSEBOX IN THE CAR AND ALL FUSES ARE OK, HAVE CHECKED THE FUSES IN THE FUSEBOX NEAR THE BATTERY AND THEY ARE ALL OK. COULD IT HAVE FRIED ONE OF THE RELAYS? THERE ARE 4 IN TOTAL IN THIS FUSE BOX 3 VIOLET 50AMP AND 1 SMALL BLACK ONE.

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

Hi Keith, unfortunately for you the wipers are controlled by the body computer multi-timer unit, it might be as simple as a re-program or at worst a new unit mega bucks!!! there are two fuses in the main fuse box inside the car for the wipers 15amp & 20amp
