Offside rear window of Megane Cabriolet is stuck down?

My 06 Megane Cabriloet's offside rear electric window is stuck down and the motor sounds dead, I've seen some good responses on here to this question, but how do I identify the correct fuse to remove it? and does removing a battery terminal have any negative implications on the computer? We have only done 12,000 miles in three years since new, and used the rear window less than 50 times. Would appreciate any advice.
