How do I fix my Ariston Margherita A1535 Wash Programme?
Whenever a wash program is selected the machine starts up OK, but then the dial just keeps going around and around clicking but wont stop on any thing.
This is the same problem as reported by Mr. B in June 2009

off the machine place it on the dial on the black dot after 10 sec turn it on leaving it on the black dot for 3 min once done its ready to go

I've got the same problem, tried to stop the machine mid cycle - start it up on a spin cycle and now it won't stop clicking. Tried resetting the machine by turning it off and starting it up on a dot but no good either. Tried filling up the machine with water but it just empties the water and starts clicking again. The on light flashes 10 x then stops then flashes 10X again. The other (drying? ) light is also on

your machine is telling your a fault code, while the dial goes round the on/off light should be flashing, it flashes between 1 and 14 times normally, and stops for 4 seconds between, then repeats the code over and over again until you turn it off, if you can tell me how many flashes you have, that will help
