My ZZR runs fine at faster speeds but the engine is not smooth at slower speeds, it runs lumpy and edgy this makes the ride in traffic quite demanding as you spend a lot of time trying to smooth things out with clutch work and adding blips on the throttle where you shouldn't have to. I had considered the possible causes to be maybe fuel starvation or a damaged leaky diaphram perhaps, I did an oil, filters, plugs service recently but didn't have time to get into sorting the carbs yet so any advice would be great
Cheers and Happy biking!! :)

Hi Adam, yes the exhaust was updated , what's dynojetted ? no never done, will try cleaning and checking the jets and can you buy a device to check the balance by listening perhaps or is it best to take the bike someplace with specialised equipment ?how much does it cost?
cheers

andy i would either clean the idle jets out in the carbs or get someone else to do it for you also i would strongly recommend getting the carbs balanced afterwards as a set of carbs out of balance can make them run very sick low down.has the bike been dynojetted at all and what exhaust system has it got on it?
