Mend MTD Pinto Autodriver Cutting Deck Engage

not cutting?

i own a mtd pinto autodriver just put new deck belt on and when i engage the the cutter nothing happens.the belt was put on the same way it came of(i think)but it seems there is not enough tension when engaged.its the right belt we have got so can anyone please help or do they have a diagram of the belt fitting.many thanks.
