how can I remove the switch on an electrolux contour vacuum cleaner?

I have removed the three obvious screws but the panel covering the switch is still fixed at the top. it is a model contour 1410 product no.9060150. My email address is chris_cook@talk21.com.

On my Contour 1460 the power cable breaks at the point of entry.
To get at power connectors, switch and speed control :
• Disconnect from power
• Remove two sunken screws either side of bag compartment front panel release push button
• Remove big anodised screw at rear below handle
• Slide handle backwards to remove it
• This exposes two clips which can be levered up to free panel covering power ‘compartment’

slide the rails off of the sides from where you put the bag in
then it will split in half
