Removal of integrated dishwasher?

My whirlpool dishwasher is not working. It originally showed an 8 flashes fault but after I have fiddled with it for a while it now just flashes after the original drain and will not go onto a wash cycle. How do I get an integrated machine out in order to have a proper look at it? Any help much appreciated.
