How can i fix my Philips Intellicare 7010 steam generator iron?

When i turn on my philips intellicare 7010 steam generator iron it is dripping water from the sole plate? Does anyone know how to fix this problem or what is likely to be causing the problem?

When i say dripping water i mean dripping, running and bubbling!

I suffered an injury. Mine shot out boiling water like a water pistol. My arm was scolded. Trading standards are investigating and I understand that unless re-tests are positive, this model may be withdraw!
