Where is the reset button on a whirlpool dishwasher?

I have a Quiet Partner 1 & couldn't locate a "red button". However I was able to reset the dishwasher. It is a white plastic squared button connected to a outter white plastic housing. I found it easier to look under the dishwasher laying on my back. So the reset button was on the top left hand corner

The only reset button on a whirlpool dishwasher is on the thermostat. Tilt your dishwasher at an angle (backwards) and slide your head under it, on the right side (as you look at it) up almost in the front right corner you will see a little red button protruding from the thermostat, just press it and you will hear it click, job done. This job is easier with small hands!

I did whirlpool service for 5 years, the only reset button on most is for the thermostat, if it keeps washing that is.
You have to tip it backwards, and if you look underneath you will see a thermostat with a redbutton in the middle, if you press it and hear click it is reset.

I have only ever owned three dishwashers and none of them had a reset button - I can't imagine a manufacturer including a reset button in a dishwasher - people might just reset it on a whim and the programmes would get confused.

If you unplug the machine from the power supply and leave it for a couple of minutes that might be a form of programme reset.
