The filter is located at the bottom of the machine, access is via a hinged plastic door. Have a bucket ready, open the drain hose to drain out excess water. When drained you can open the filter by turning it anticlockwise. It is good housekeeping to clean the filter regularly. Don't forget to plug the hose again when you're finished!
