JCB 3c Mk2 Hydraulic filter?

Can anyone help. How do you change a hydraulic filter on a 3c or should i say where is it? Do i have to drain the complete hydraulic fluid to change it. Ive done all the other filters just dont have a clue about this one
Thanks in advance

it is usully inside a door type cover under the front valve block, you dont have to drain all the hydraulic oil but the outside housing with the oil and filter is heavy.
on mine there was a large 1inch nut on top of fileter housing

The hydraulic filter is positioned on the front offside behind a hinged door. It's quite a large filter, approx 2ft long and about 9" diameter. You don't need to drain down the entire system, instead position the machine with all rams extended where possible to help prevent syphoning. Remember to chock the loader arms!!!

Undo the housing in which the filter is situated but be prepared for about a gallon of oil to flow out as you remove the filter. There is a long bolt which runs up the middle of the filter casing and possibly a U-bolt to secure the casing in place as well.

Top up the hydraulic oil afterwards.
