Mend Hotpoint WD420G Code Flashes

Hotpoint Model WD420G What is the following Error Code?

The On/Off Indicator constantly flashes along with the Drying High Heat Indicator and the Reduces Creases Indicator.

Apart from this the machine is completely dead!

Hotpoint have said that it is an Error Code but will give no further indication. We have had problems with this machine twice and it has been the E-prom on both occasions.

this means that the washer dryer cannot continue because the thermostat and dryer box need replacing ( dryer box is on the left hand side of the cement block)

I was fixing an issue with my dryer setting not heating. I removed the thermostat and the lights lit up as described, but the extra rinse light was also flashing. Put the thermostat back and all was O.K. If the \"Extra rinse light\" is also flashing I would suggest replacing the thermostat.
