How can I fix my Hotpoint Aquarius 1200 (WM64)?

Please could anyone help me? I've just purchased a Hotpoint Aquarius 1200 washing machine & it won't rinse or empty - has any one got any ideas please? I haven't got a manual for it & don't know what to do - HELP!!!!

Open the filter trapdoor at the bottom of the washer (front). There should be a drain hose in there, have a bucket handy & open the hose to drain the water into the bucket. Once the water is out take out the filter & check for a blockage.
