CD player will not eject disc?

I had to dismantle the CD drive by taking off the cover plate and lift out the disc. It was a scratched disc that could not be read. I have also had the same thing happen again with a blank disc. I copied one, for use in the car, and it didn't copy properly so was blank. Had to do the same thing to get that disc out. Hope this helps anyone else.
