Mend Hotpoint FDW20 Light Flashing Dishwasher

FDW20 - pre-wash and drying light flashing?

We have a Hotpoint FDW20 Dishwasher.

The Pre-Wash and dryer lights are on constantly, flashing off and back on every second or 2.

There is nothing on the habdbook or on any forums about this... any pointers would be great

The pump is blocked. Remove the filter and use a coathanger to clear the blockage. If this does not work you will have to open up the bottom and remove the pump to clear the blockage.
