Makes winning sound during spin/drain cycle. Does not sound like bearings, sounds more like pump. How do I remove outside to get to the "guts".

My washer will not agitate. During wash cycle the belt at the bottom is turning in one direction only, no back and forth movement for agitation. It does everything else. I can spin the water out to drain it.
