Lin 19 displayed in mileage display? Peugeot 307 HDi?

I have a 56 plate peugeot 307 HDi 110 that has covered less than 10k miles. Whilst driving home today Lin 19 was displayed where the mileage is normally displayed along with a spanner. The car was fine in 1st gear but there was no drive in 2nd. Any ideas???
