I just founded a diagram how to change it it looks easy I am going to try it I will let you know within 2-3 days by the way don’t buy the bulb from Kitchen Aid $58 you can get the same exact bulb from a bulb shop $2.00 to $3.00 another scam by the scum bags Kitchen Aid Crab

It does not appear to be an easy task. I have the same issue and all of my research points to calling a service tech to change it at about $60 to $80 an hour plus parts. It requires major disassembly to remove the housing to get to the bulb. Mine has shorted out only after 2 years. I tapped it and it came back on for a short while. This appears to be a money making scam by Kitchenaid to hit you up on service charges plus parts. Not happy.
