WHIRPOOL AKZ 151?

Having problem with my oven, sometimes it doesnt cook properly, so far i have manged by turning it off then on again, and i usually cooks fine, but today i noticed that it was glowing red hot behind the fan. i turned it off straight away and when i turned it on again it was fine not glowing. please help
