radio code?

just replaced the battery on my wifes mondeo and now the radio is asking for the code and being as the car is over ten years old the code is no longer with the vehicle i have looked around and found out that the model number is required wich is M059563 if any one could help it would be a great help to stop her chewing my ears of about it.
