hi my car just recntly stopped starting? so i called the aa and they said it was the alternator i got it fixed and it was up and running a week later same thing! i was told it was the battery so i changed it and 30 mins later same problem what can it be or was it a faulty alternator?
Hi the same thing happened to me and i was in the garage for hours it was a simple problem where you put the ignition key in to start the car the barrel behind it was loose they pushed it back in and put a elasic band tight round it had no problems since hope helped.

I had the same problem and all it was was a 20amp fuse had blown - it apparently had short circuited something. Try changing the fuse and see what happens. I was told by the RAC it was my alternator but it wasn't.
