worcester oil boiler. have heating but no hot water. I can get hot water from imersion heater only. How can I locate the problem or potential area of problem as oil engineers are hard to get hold of and very expensive....
Fed up with showers and really want a hot bath...

Its probably a faulty 2 port valve, close to the copper cylinder. This either allows hot water to enter the heating coil of the cylinder or allows it to just run through the central heating pipes. They have a small electric motor on top which has packed in.
