Advent Digital Camera MP8?

Very pleased with this camera and have taken many photos. Unfortunatley I am now faced with a problem and I would be most gratefull for some help to rectify this situation, which is as follows.

The view finder shows a perfect picture but when I download it on to my PC., horizontal lines appear across the picture. Thank you
