how can i fix my sportscraft tx4.9 treadmill?

can you tell me what may be wrong and how to fix my treadmill? It will run at the start real good, but after about 2 minutes it will slow way down to almost a stop all on its own... It is a sportscraft tx4.9 treadmill and i have only had it for 3 years..
