How can I fix my sharp aquos lc-32p70e?

The set is switched on using the power button toggle switch on to of the TV. However, it switches itself back off again! For a while, I seemed to be able to get around this by quickly pressing the switch, but this doesn't work any more. The set will now only stay on if the power button is permanently held down.
