your iron must have limescale problem , empty the water chamber and put in 100 mls of white vinegar with 200 mls of water and turn on the heat and give it a shake. the limescale will melt and steam will get through. if this doesnt work get a new iron.

i have sgr k122 i love this iron but when its on for a while there is a loud noise coming from water chamber.
