How to open cassette player door?

Many have offered guidance on how to remove a stuck cassette/door. But if the door is stuck, how do you remove the door in order to access the drive belt?

I have an Aiwa CX-NAJ20.

I've seen where you are supposed to access the tape mechanism, likely by removing some of the case...a real pain, but necessary, and turn the flywheel connected to the capstan a bit, so the normal release mechanism will function. Do not FORCE the door open! This my second AIWA recorder plagued with this problem....I will buy NO MORE Aiwa equipment!!!!
