How can I fix my Hotpoint WD 51 1100?

THE PLASTIC DOOR WAS BROKEN AND THE POWER WOULD NOT COME ON. HAVE REPLACED THE DOOR BUT STILL NO POWER. FUSES OK. PRESUME IT IS THE DOOR ELECTRIC SWITCH OR IS THERE A TRIP SWITCH SOMEWHERE. HAVE TRIED OPERATING THE DOOR SWITCH MANUALY, NO RESPONCE. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GOOD.
