Retrofitting second pane of glass - how much desiccate do I need?

We're considering adding a second 3 mm pane of glass to our large existing windows.

1. Can I glue the second window to the sash to reduce the possibility of moisture intrusion. What would you recommend?

2. How much desiccate do I need per 100 cm of window?

Many Thanks!

hi there i think this is a pointless exercise. have you really thought this thru. being a window fitter i have removed numerous versions of this type of secondary double glazing and can tell you none of them were successful in fulfilling the promises that the installers made. purpose double glazing is the only answer
