the program dial clicking around means that it has sensed a fault, the program may just need to be resetting, you do this by putting the dial to the stop position and them switch the machine on leave it for 20 seconds, switch machine off again & reselect your programme.

remove the filter at the bottom right and check the filter is clear.once you have removed the filter shine a torch in to the filter housing and check if the drain pump impellor rotates freely
