Today is the first time i have used the machine since Monday, when Dee Jay advised me to clean my filter http://www.howtomendit.com/answers.php?id=29240.
I put the things in on a 40 degree wash, and gave it a repeat of the spin it had just done afterwards to spin out the excess water. Unfortunately the machine still jumps across the kitchen, and now it's holding my stuff hostage! I press the button, and i feel the click as something releases, but something else holds on.
Please help!

I've had it looked at, and the shock absorbers are going.
The machine is generally dying of old age now (its 12-ish yrs old), so i'm ordering a new one.
