Mend Simpson 146 Washing Machine Mashine

simpson model 146 drum bearings?

It appears the drum bearings are on the way out on my simpson model 146 washing machine, the mashine washes ok but when it goes to spin dry the belt will start to slip. I have changed & adjusted the belt but still slips. is it a major job to replace the drum bearings & would you have an idea on how to change them.
